Summer Reading Challenge

• The Summer Reading Challenge is for all ages! Pre-readers, kids, teens and adults can earn prizes throughout the summer by reading, attending library programs and completing activities.
• Register online at MaricopaCountyReads.org (only one account per person).
• Begin logging reading minutes on June 1, in your online account. Paper gameboards are available but all activity must be logged online to redeem prizes.
• Gameboards can be picked up in the branches.

• Earn points by reading (1 minute = 1 point), completing online challenges, participating in community experiences, attending library programs and collecting secret codes.
• Win prizes throughout the challenge. Prizes are available while supplies last and are subject to change. Pick up prizes as they are earned.

Pre-Readers (ages 0-4)

250 points: Sweet Republic free scoop
500 points: Treasure chest, Peter Piper Pizza personal pizza coupon, Habit Burger & Grill kid’s meal
750 points: Ono Hawaiian BBQ Keiki meal, Phoenix Mercury tickets*
1000 points: Raffle drawing for a family 4-pack of tickets to Butterfly Wonderland and free book*

Kids (ages 5-11)

250 points: Sweet Republic free scoop

Teens (ages 12-17)

1000 points: Raffle drawing for one (1) iPad and free book*

Adults (ages 18 and up)

Every 250 points earns you a raffle ticket for a gift basket of your choice! Raffle tickets must be redeemed in person. More information on gift baskets will be coming soon.
750 points: AZ State Parks pass, Phoenix Mercury tickets*
1000 points: Library tote, raffle drawing for two (2) iPads and free book*
