Current Exhibition - Lex Gjurasic’s Flower Worlds

Lex Gjurasic artwork 1

Apr 10 - Jul 15, 2025

Tucson-based artist Lex Gjurasic expresses her philosophy of “radical happiness” and reverence for nature with a cosmic cacophony of flowers. Gjurasic’s series of verdant, undulating flower paintings and sculptures contain the origins of her childhood and her foremother’s traditional Slavic art. Floral motifs in embroidery, wall decorations, and painted Easter eggs are historical references for her celebration of botanicals.

The exhibition of Gjurasic’s artworks will be made even more interesting by the addition of augmented reality through the Hoverlay app. In this AR experience, the gallery environment will vibrate with painting and sculptures that come alive.
