BookMates provides personalized recommendations for adult and teen books. Simply fill out the form to describe your reading interests and what kind of book you are looking for and one of our talented matchmakers will set you up with some reading suggestions! Each of our libraries have free computers and Wi-Fi for the public to use as well. We also offer printing, scanning and faxing.

Phoenix Rescue Mission, a Christian nonprofit, provides services and resources to people facing hunger, homelessness, addiction and trauma. They are generally at Civic Center Library Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Services offered include homeless aid and support, connections to shelters, transportation and housing assistance.

Local Author
Scottsdale Public Library is proud to feature a local author collection, which showcases emerging literary, musical and filmmaking efforts of our community. Arizona residents of all ages are encouraged to submit their books, CDs and DVDs for consideration.

We offer assistance with technology in a number of ways. Our Ask the Experts program offers help with your personal computer, tablet or smartphone and is offered regularly at our branches. For help with technology and services that the library provides, you can ask at your local branch or contact us. If your question is more complex, a staff member will arrange a One-on-One appointment for more in-depth assistance.
