As we welcome 2026, Scottsdale Public Library extends its sincere thanks for your continued support. In 2025, the library experienced an exciting and successful year marked by meaningful growth, new partnerships and expanded access through increased library hours.

This year’s contest invited children ages 5–8 to create a design for a library card. Luna, age 6, was selected as the winner from more than 80 submissions. Her artwork will be featured on a limited-edition Scottsdale Public Library card available next spring.

The library is choosing its newest children’s library card design, selected from 80 submissions by kids ages 5–8. Four finalists are up for a public vote through Dec. 3. The winning design will be revealed at the Ultimate Family Play Date on Dec. 6 and will become a library card next year.
