As we welcome 2026, Scottsdale Public Library extends its sincere thanks for your continued support. In 2025, the library experienced an exciting and successful year marked by meaningful growth, new partnerships and expanded access through increased library hours.

Notable achievements included the opening of the College and Career Corner at Civic Center Library, along with a successful College and Career Fair hosted with Scottsdale Unified School District and Scottsdale Career Services. The completion of the Mustang Library Wall project created a dedicated children’s area while improving overall quietness throughout the library. We were also pleased to bring back the popular semi-annual book sale at Civic Center Library. In addition, several new programs were introduced, including Music Under the Stars at Arabian Library featuring local musicians, Osher Lifelong Learning programs in collaboration with Arizona State University, and Smart Money Talk with local financial professionals.

By the numbers in 2025:

• Over 685,000 visitors
• More than 95,000 cardholders, including over 20,000 new cardholders
• 2.4 million physical and digital items checked out
• 1,535 programs offered with more than 48,000 attendees

Looking ahead, we are excited to introduce new programs and services in 2026, including mobile Wi-Fi hotspot for checkout, virtual reality experiences and makerspace programming.
