Ghost Hunting Tales with AZ Paranormal Investigation and Research Society
(ages 18 and up / 60 min) Learn about the experiences of seasoned ghost hunter Vinnie Amico.

Scottsdale Artists’ School: Ghost Gouache Painting
(ages 18 and up) Local artists from Scottsdale Artists’ will lead tweens in exploring how create a spooky piece of art for the Halloween season.
1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, at Appaloosa Library
(ages 10-18 / 75 min) Celebrate the spooky season with a charcoal drawing class, presented by Scottsdale Artists’ School. All materials provided.
3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, at Arabian Library
(ages 0-8 / 45 min) Calling all ghosts, goblins, and other costumed characters! Stop by the library for family-friendly games and activities to celebrate the spooky season.
6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, at all library locations
(ages 12-18 / 90 min) Get your fright on while we watch a scary movie and enjoy some monster munchies.
5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, at Civic Center Library
It Lives! Classic Horror Marathon
(ages 18 and up) Kick off your Halloweekend with a movie marathon featuring three horror classics. Wear your costume, enjoy a bag of popcorn, and take some spooky pictures at our photo station. Test your scary movie knowledge with some trivia to win a Halloween raffle basket!
