September is library card sign-up month! 

If you are receiving this email I know you are a fan of the Scottsdale Public Library and its services.  Mark your calendars for Nov. 4 when we celebrate the expanding Scottsdale Library with the opening of our fifth location, the Appaloosa branch. Everyone is welcome.  Also, September is library card sign up month—so make sure your friends and family have a Scottsdale Public Library card.

Little People Literary Fete 

Books and Babies Celebration!

It will be the event to be seen at if you are a Scottsdale baby! The library hosts a shower for our "new" customers age 2-6 months old! Babies bring your parents for an afternoon of tasty treats, great games, special story times and rockin' resources. Babies and caregivers sign up now!

Ghoulie Girls Author Program

Join Sarah Langan, Alex Sokoloff, Sarah Pinborough, and Rhodi Hawk for a horrifically entertaining evening of ghoulish literary fun as these four authors talk about Audrey's DoorThe UnseenThe Taken, and The Twisted Ladder.

Copies of the authors' books are available at the library and will also be available for sale after the program. A portion of the proceeds of the book sales will be donated to the Friends of the Scottsdale Public Library. Registration is recommended.
