Who is your favorite comic book hero? Do you remember the first time you read about his or her adventures in a crisp new comic book? Then you can’t miss Zap! Pow! Bam! at the Gallery @ The Library! This exhibit features a drawing studio, a news stand with free comic books, and interactive stations that allow children to dress up as Super Heroes! Don’t touch the kryptonite, and be sure to keep an ear out for the phone ringing to see if your superhero help is needed.

Your reading history & reading wishlist at your fingertips!

Have you ever wanted to see a list of all of the items you have checked out from the library? Or a list of all of the items you want to check out in the future? Then you are in luck!

When you log-in to your account (via the handy link on the upper right hand corner of the Scottsdale Library’s website) you have the option to keep a ‘reading history’. This will maintain a list of all items you check out, as well as the date. This information is only accessible to you when you log-in to your account. You can also create a ‘Wishlist’ of items you would like to check out in the future. First, you’ll need to create a list in your account. Then, as you browse our collection online, you will see a button at the top of the page that says ‘Save to my List’. When you click on that button, you will be able to save the item to your created list. It’s that easy!

Get started today by logging-in to your account. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to Ask a Librarian.
