Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Peace Corps!

Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Peace Corps!

In 1961 President Kennedy created the Peace Corps in an effort to give people the opportunity to volunteer in countries all over the world. Join us to celebrate the Peace Corps 50th anniversary!

Past and present volunteers will share their vast experiences through YouTube videos, booths representing their host countries, and panel discussions. A documentary will be shown about Sergeant Shriver, the first director of the Peace Corps. Booths and activities will be open from noon until 3pm. If you were or are a Peace Corps volunteer please come and share your story with us.
