Behind the scenes…Construction continues on the new Appaloosa branch library!

Online social networking sites have changed the way that so many of us communicate with one another.  Fascinating and at the same time a bit frightening for some, the speed at which information can be disseminated is amazing.  If you want to know up to the minute news of your favorite library, become a fan of the Scottsdale Public Library on Facebook.  You'll get to watch an insider's view of the construction, set-up and opening of our new Appaloosa library.  Enjoy!

Weekend Storytimes

If you are a working parent, chances are that you have not had the opportunity to indulge your child in one of the library's special story times. This fall, the library is pleased to present Saturday storytimes so that everyone has the opportunity to hear about my momma the llama and the sheep that drives a jeep (one of my favs). See a staff person 30 minutes prior to story time to receive a ticket for the program.
