Do you love the Library? Don’t be afraid to spread the word!

Do you love the Library? Don’t be afraid to spread the word!

On July 20, NPR published an article predicting that Libraries will be the next 'cupcakes'; meaning that they will be the next big craze in pop culture. You can read the article for yourself here.

Of course, we at the library already know that we are far superior to cupcakes; however we do acknowledge that there are many in our community who aren't aware of that fact. Why not advertise how great the Scottsdale Library is by asking our amazing customers for help? Whether you come to the library to borrow books, for your children to enjoy a story time or to use free WiFi; we invite you to tell your friends, family, and peers WHY you love the library!

A little word of mouth can go a long way, and we at the library truly appreciate your help!

Don't be a 'Dummie'

Don't be a 'Dummie'

From iPhones to quantum physics. From raising chickens to raising children. The infamous "Dummies" books give quick and insightful overviews about an overabundance of topics. Don't be put off by the titles – the library staff uses them to understand their Blackberrys and train their dogs. Just because you use them doesn't make you a dummy in fact, we think you'll be even smarter.

See our 'Dummies' collection and don't take the title to heart!
