Kid-friendly databases make research easy
School starts this month. Book reports, research projects and homework assignments will be in full swing! Help your kids along in the research process by using the databases at the Scottsdale Library that are built for kids. Elementary students use Kids Search a great tool to find articles, and Searchasaurus is an easy to use database favorite. These are just two of the many databases that you’ll find one the Scottsdale Public Library website.

Don't be a 'Dummie'

From iPhones to quantum physics. From raising chickens to raising children. The infamous "Dummies" books give quick and insightful overviews about an overabundance of topics. Don't be put off by the titles – the library staff uses them to understand their Blackberrys and train their dogs. Just because you use them doesn't make you a dummy in fact, we think you'll be even smarter.
See our 'Dummies' collection and don't take the title to heart!
