City of Scottsdale documents -- Documents published by various City departments including Planning, Transportation, and Police.

Local magazines -- Approximately 60 periodical titles pertaining to Scottsdale and the Southwest on a variety of subjects including art, history, and Native America.

Historic photographs collection-- An essential portion of Scottsdale history is contained in a photograph collection located in the Scottsdale Room. A program is available to make copy prints available to Library customers. A portion of this collection may be viewed online.

Maps -- U.S. Geological Survey topographic maps for Arizona, Arizona Department of Transportation county highway maps, and aerial photos of Scottsdale and Maricopa County.

Yearbooks -- An assortment of yearbooks from local secondary schools and colleges.

City directories -- Historical City and cross-reference directories for Scottsdale and other Valley cities.

Public review documents -- Selected reports available for citizen review from the City of Scottsdale, State of Arizona, and the Environmental Protection Agency including the North Indian Bend Wash Superfund Site documentation.
