Scottsdale--Then and Now! Our photos are now on the Arizona Memory Project web site. The Arizona Memory Project is an online effort to provide access to the wealth of primary sources in Arizona libraries, archives, museums and other cultural institutions. Remember the past and take a tour of some old and new photos of the City.
Digital Photo Collection Our digital photograph collection began in 2005 with a grant entitled Arizona in the 1930s. These funds were granted by the Arizona State Library, Archives, and Public Records Agency under the Library Services and Technology Act, which is administered by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
The project was a cooperative venture between the Scottsdale Public Library and the Arizona Historical Society that also included a travelling exhibit on 1930s' Arizona and collaborative programming.
