Camp Dreamtree

Local artist Roy Wasson Valle and visual arts instructor Koryn Woodward Wasson are teaming up to create Camp Dreamtree and inviting kids of all ages to become Dream Scouts who pledge their love of books, nature, curiosity, and the utmost respect for wonder.

From Meatballs to Moonrise Kingdom, summer camp has inspired all kinds of creative expression. Roy Wasson Valle and Koryn Woodward Wasson’s Camp Dreamtree, is a great place to tell your own stories about camp! Come to the Gallery in the Scottsdale Civic Center Library for an evening by the campfire with Mothers Who Write instructors Amy Silverman from Phoenix New Times and Deborah Sussman from ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts, who will inspire you with prompts and exercises designed to shake loose your own summer camp memories and jump start your writing.
