Recent customer reviews: DVD Title - I'm Not There This incredible DVD is about the life and times of Bob Dylan (or is it?) About his transition from folk to electric (or is it?). He is brillantly played by a young african-american boy (Marcus Carl Franklin), Cate Blanchett as the teen musician and another 6 or 7 characters. I saw it twice in the theatre and then bought the DVD! Fri, 6/20/08 2:43:29 PM
Music CD Title - Pretty Odd Artist - Panic at the Disco panic at the disco, first of all, has dropped their exclamation point (prev. panic!...). but that doesn't mean that their music is any worse. On the contrary, this group explores a different sound, much different from A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, and somewhat gentler, but great to listen to all the same. the most popular song on the album is Nine in the Afternoon. c*c*c* Thu, 6/5/08 10:26:45 AM

Book Title - Bratfest at Tiffany's Author - Lisi Harrison Bratfest at Tiffany's, the latest installment in the Clique series (not counting the Summer Collection mini-series), is an entertaining read. I say "entertaining" since there are some major plot points that don't exactly make sense. However, aside from that, Massie, Claire, Kristen, Dylan, and the rest of the "ah-mazing" characters. Lisi Harrison has written another fun book, this time featuring the Tiffany's brand, that you'll peruse again and again. yours, ~chic*couture*chick. Mon, 4/14/08 9:08:26 PM
Book Title - The Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian Author - Sherman Alexie This hilarious yet smart book tells the story of a teenage boy growing up on "the rez" and the experiences he has when he transfers to a mostly white school. Readers of any age will enjoy this book. Wed, 4/9/08 4:49:03 PM
Book Title - Fairest Author - Gail Carson Levine Gail C. Levine tells the tale of an ugly girl with a beautiful voice. When her vocal skills drag her into a plot of deceit and lies, she must rely on love and friendship to defeat the evil "gift" that the confused fairy Lucinda has accidentally bestowed on the humans. And in the meanwhile, can she find the truth about her mysterious birth, and maybe find someone who doesn't care about what she looks like? Ms. Levine plunges down with us yet again, to explore the world of magic, good, evil, and love! This book is an amazing example of the skill of Gail Carson Levine, and leaves you hungry for more. If, like me, you absolutely need to read more after you've read Fairest, she's written tons and tons more! An example is the award winning Ella Enchanted, the tale of a spunky girl with a "gift" from, again, the fairy Lucinda! Anyway, read Fairest, and all of Ms. Levine's other books, please! DVD Title - Thank You for Smoking Author - Stars Aaron Eckhart, Katie Holmes This movie actually makes the tobacco industry fun to watch. You might even pick up a trick or two on the art of spin from the "MOD" squad (Merchants of Death.) Thu, 4/3/08 10:25:17 AM
Book Title - Poseur Author - Rachel Maude Poseur was a great debut novel by new author Rachel Maude. It is centered on the lives of four dynamic characters--four female sophomores who attend Winston Prep High School. They all have their different and important opinions on life, people, clothes, and most significantly: fashion. When the four (very contrasting) girls are forced to design a clothing label, they "clash with a capital C" as Ms. Maude puts it. The question is, how will they work everything out, especially with the girls' various day-to-day problems and stresses? Basically, this is a MUST-read new book for anyone who looovvess fashion and a great book (like I do!!). From the publisher Poppy, who also brings you other well-known teen books, such as the Clique and Gossip Girl series. Tue, 4/1/08 5:56:47 PM
